All Crosby shackles meet performance requirements of federal specifications RR_C_271-D Type IVA grade A ,the class varies for the different type shackles.

They are closed die forged to insure a consistent dimensional accuracy and they also have the highest design factor in the industry

Quenched and Tempering assures the uniformity of performance and maximizes the properties of the steel.
